Company History

Lopefra Corp. opened for business circa 1970. In 1975 Cecilio Lopez, together with his business partner and long time friend, Enrique Fraxedas, formed Lopez Fraxedas Corp. Cecilio ran his business out of his home office, establishing his West Miami home as Lopefra′s first headquarters. In 1980, Cecilio′s four brothers joined the Lopefra Corp. team. This team helped reorganize the company structure. Francisco took over the business bookkeeping. Roberto took charge of the repair shop. Finally Rolando and Raul contributed their skills supervising jobsites.

In 1990, the company changed its name to the current shorter name "Lopefra Corp." and has remained a strong family centered business. In the course of time, the company has continued to grow. In 1995 Lopefra opened its own Materials Recycling Facility and in 1996, Lopefra added a Roll-Off Department. Through the years, the family has grown, adding more members to the Lopefra team.

It has been said that working with your family is sometimes difficult, but we at Lopefra Corp. treasure the experience on a daily basis. However, we cannot fail to honor our hard-working employees, many of whom have been with us for over 20 years. Their dedication, honesty and hard-work have truly placed us where we are today.
